About me

After 20 years leading development in culture, I wanted to use my learning and skillset to provide targeted support where I could make the most difference. So in 2020 I left my dream job as CEO of Theatre Bristol to set up my independent practice providing creative facilitation, coaching and consultancy in and beyond the culture sector.

I’ve discovered that people and organisations can go a long way with intensive support from someone who understands the challenges they’re facing.  I work hard to make sure that process is always energising, enjoyable and productive – and extremely well organised!

I’ve got a magpie brain: I love taking interesting ideas, theories and approaches and bringing them together in new ways, and using systems thinking to understand and make connections between people, places and points of view.

My central belief is that people have the solutions to their own problems – what makes the difference is having the time, space and skilled guidance to step back, take a fresh look at the situation, and dig deep to find the answer.

I’m committed to upholding the values of equity and inclusion in my work, including through ongoing training. Most recently this includes achieving qualifications in BSL Level 1 and Understanding Autism Level 2.
